Like majority of Foxcroft’s animals rescue and rehabilitation posts, “Honey’s journey” was embellished and riddled with lies:
Don’t you just love Foxcroft’s hyperbole that Honey a common brushtail possum watched her for many nights before she took a chance to ask for help. If wildlife was knocking at her door, why didn’t she open the door to invite them in, instead of trapping them, capturing Honey in May 2018 as she told her followers?
It is highly doubtful she was urged to euthanise Honey. It is a pattern with Foxcroft to demonise others so that she can raise herself above others and portray herself as the animal hero since she has little success to show for it. Remember the Agile wallaby with a depressed skull fracture that had to be euthanised after it was confiscated from Foxcroft? She demonised the vet for ending the suffering of the wallaby. The wallaby had suffered tremendous pain in her unqualified hands for 36 plus hours.
Foxcroft also posted Honey’s “journey” in her organisation Cee4life website. She said that Honey “is under the care of one of their volunteers” .
What Foxcroft did not tell her followers, is, there has been no new Cee4life volunteers since they left years ago. These volunteers placed their trust in her because they wanted to help animals, only to discover a few years later that Foxcroft had abused and broke their trust.
The “volunteer” looking after Honey is none other than Foxcroft herself. She said so in one of her live stream. She could have said she was looking after Honey but instead chose to fabricate a lie to puff up her organisation. The board of directors are in name only, they do nothing. For several years now, all posts and comments by Cee4life were done by Foxcroft whilst she pretended they were written by either a volunteer or board member:
Instead of updating Honey’s progress in her #Cee4life website and facebook page, she deleted it. She provided heaps of updates in her personal page though.
It begs the question why she took the trouble to delete Honey’s “journey”from her website and not update it. Had she done something illegal under her NGO organisation and therefore had to delete the post?

Regarding Honey’s pregnancy, it was not until September 2018, Foxcroft realised Honey had a joey growing inside her pouch, when the joey’s head emerged from its mother’s pouch. She thought that it was a spider. This was coming from someone who says she specialises in wildlife biology.
Perhaps Foxcroft would like to enlighten everyone of the successes she had as an “environmental manager” or which authentic NGO she has worked for. Oh, that would be her NGO #Cee4life that has no volunteeers and board members who does nothing:
If a spider had been living inside Honey’s pouch she would certainly be dead, if not, scientists would be knocking down Foxcroft’s door to investigate the phenomena of a spider living in a possum’s pouch!
It was obvious that she was giddy with excitement about the joey and blurted out the truth that she had no idea Honey was pregnant. It will probably be the first and last time she will be 100% honest about any wildlife in her care:
During her live stream in July 2018, two months prior to September 2018, before her discovery of the joey, Foxcroft can be seen and admitted to harassing Honey while she tried to “educate” her followers about the prehensile tail.
Foxcroft also brought up Honey’s pouch to ‘educate’ her followers but was oblivious that Honey was pregnant. Even a lay person would worry, if not wondered why Honey’s pouch was getting bigger. A trained and experienced wildlife carer would know that Honey was pregnant from the size of her pouch. They would have checked her pouch:

Foxcroft just loves to brag about her “university” education and loves to disparage others, but time and time again, shows herself to be the one who lacks knowledge and wildlife rehabilitation skills despite her university education. As they say, “you can’t fix stupid”.
In Foxcroft’s post below, you can see that she was humanising Lyla, just like she did with Suki, the Agile wallaby.
Young possums are easily imprinted. No doubt Lyla was also associating with her 2 cats. Lets not forget that these marsupials are very susceptible to toxoplasmosis.
She alleged that Lyla was released but who knows, since majority of what Foxcroft says regarding her wildlife rescue and care cannot be trusted. She lies like people breathe.
It is not an easy task to estimate the age of a possum. It requires a combination of body weight, body length, scent gland development if it is a male, pouch development for females and tooth wear.
Foxcroft wanted people to believe that she is capable of determining the age of a possum but has shown that she was completely clueless about something as simple as the pregnancy of a possum in her care. She also wanted her followers to think that Honey’s health was declining.
In January 2019, a month after she said Honey was 9 years old, she took a step further and claimed that she had a vet from the “Uni come and check her out” and estimated Honey to be 10 years old:
Approximately 4 months later, in May 2019, not only was Honey dead, but within a 4 months period, Honey who was supposedly assessed by the “Uni vet” to be 10 years, had aged by 3 years and was 13! Remember 4 months ago, she commented that possums “can live to about 13 years old.”
No vet from the “Uni” came to assess Honey. Just like there is no wildlife center or wildlife sanctuary in Magnetic Island. These false narratives were setup by Foxcroft, most likely for some nefarious activities she was plotting in her warped mind:
In November 2018 Foxcroft did a live stream and told her followers that Lyla was 2 months old:
For everyone’s information, a 2 months old brushtail possum joey is called a “pinkie” and furless. It’s eyes would still be closed and does not emerge from it’s mother’s pouch until 4-5 months old (Wiki & Wombarro Possum feeding chart) It is physically impossible for the joey in the video to be 2 months old.

The “university graduate” came to her conclusion that Lyla was 2 months old by counting from the first time she saw Lyla emerged from her mother’s pouch. This comment would have been too funny if not for all the wildlife unfortunate enough to be captured by Foxcroft and ended up in her care.
According to Foxcroft, Honey had been in her care for 4 months and was already pregnant but was not aware of it, despite the pouch getting bigger with each passing day. She saw the joey for the first time in September 2018. Two months later in November, she took a video of Lyla. Of course Lyla was huge, because she is between 6-7 months old.
It is very troubling to see Foxcroft continues to portray herself to be an expert, disseminating misinformation about wildlife and wildlife care.
Foxcroft also separated Lyla from her mother, claiming that Lyla was eating all of Honey’s food and riding on her mother’s back.

In the wild, the joey is weaned between 6-7 months, but they still spend 3 additional months with their mother where the mother would share her food with her baby. They ride on their mother’s back till about 7-9 months old.Then at about 10 months the mother would encourage the baby to leave and no longer shares her food (Wiki).
Foxcroft also separated Honey’s other baby from Honey when she captured Honey. That joey was not ready to be separated from it’s mother (Honey).
Foxcroft is clearly clueless nor possess the appropriate wildlife rehabilitation qualification and skills as she continues to care and rescue wildlife.
When someone like Foxcroft who has no clue what she is doing refused to get the appropriate training, she is causing harm to the animals she is trying to help.
Authentic wildlife carers have no need to fabricate lies to make themselves relevant nor would they take every opportunity to brag about their supposedly superior intelligence. Their work, their successes and the way they present themselves speaks for itself. At the end of the day it is about the animals, not the rescuers or the wildlife carers.
A publicity hound, Foxcroft is the liar and hypocrite she warns you about.
Her followers do not deserve to be treated like fools and lied to repeatedly, they deserve better, they deserve the truth.
The wildlife in her care deserves better. It is unlikely Foxcroft will seek appropriate training and certification as it would be an admission that she is unqualified and lied in her Cee4life NGO core mission where she said, “we provide education and training to wildlife carers and zookeepers in how to care for wildllife and endangered animals kept in captivity.”
Though there is no shame in seeking training. The lives of animals should always come first, ahead of one’s pride and ego.
Foxcroft presents herself to be uneducated, unethical, unprofessional, unqualified and untruthful. Are people suppose to be envious of this?
No authentic and self-respected NGO would want to work/partner with her organisation Cee4life with the exception of the Bandung Zoo. A zoo Foxcroft sucks up to and repeatedly lies for to gain their acceptance. She betrays the animals she claims to help. She is a disgrace and a joke.
To the billions of people without a university education who Foxcroft loves to mock, remember, you are defined by your actions, not by a piece of paper. This post is dedicated to all of you amazing hardworking people.
