Living a Life of Perpetual Deceit

Lets face it, at some point in our lives, we have subconsciously used mental mechanisms to rationalise and deny. We have also told the occasional fibs, but for the sociopath, lying is as easy as breathing. They bend the facts to deceive and gain support.

If you are an authentic animal rights activist, you believe in justice for all animals. You do not sell out the animals for personal or organisational gains. However, this is what Sybelle Foxcroft did. She sold out the animals in the BandungZoo to gain the zoos’ favour so that they would allow her organisation Cee4life to partner with them.

During Foxcroft’s first year working with the Bandung Zoo, two Bengal tiger cubs #Eshan and Maharani were born on June 25th 2017. They were the result of a 3 years breeding program between the Bandung and Maharani Zoos:

Despite the planned arrangement between these zoos and media release about the agreement, Foxcroft lied to the public. She said:

Throughout Cee4life and the Bandung Zoos’ partnership, Foxcroft continues with her lies whilst she panders shamelessly to the Bandung zoo. She said that Sila, the female Bengal tiger, was unable to conceive and the birth of the cubs was a surprise in her attempts to dispel the fact that there was breeding in the zoo.

She went whole hog in and said:

She slammed the Tiger Temple and demonised the ex-volunteers.

Following the recent Netflix Tiger King documentary, she injected herself into the public arena and slammed Joe Exotic. Though 7 years ago, she said she liked the man eventhough the Humane Society of the United States (HSUS) had revealed that their undercover investigation of Joe Exotic’s G.W Exotics Zoo found “disturbing scenes of animal cruelty”.

Foxcroft also condemned Joe Exotic for taking the tiger cub from it’s mother:

Yet there was no outrage nor condemnation from Foxcroft when Eshan and Maharani were taken from their mother. Instead she lied again, claiming that the cubs were rejected by their mother and removed for their own safety.

Foxcroft portrays herself as a champion for tigers, an animal hero. In reality she wrecks their lives through her ignorance and recklessness which had resulted in the deaths of over half of the confiscated tigers from the Tiger Temple. She also has the public think that she saved a “poisoned and starved” Sumatran tiger, Melani from the Surabaya Zoo but all she did was prolonged the tiger’s suffering. Even her friend Tony Samumpau, the Secretary General of the Indonesia Zoos and Aquarium said:

In May 2017, Foxcroft’s millionaire friend Alshad Ahmad luxury home in Bandung, Indonesia was raided by the West Java Natural Resources Conservation Agency (BKSDA). Several endangered animals were confiscated, including a female Bengal tiger cub named Jinora he had procured illegally from a breeding facility in Tangerang, Bantena. The tiger was taken to the Bandung Zoo. Even though the raid was not publicised much in Indonesia, Foxcroft deliberately lied about how Jinora arrived at the Bandung Zoo to curry favour with Alshad:

There is nothing Foxcroft would not lie about. Who she lies to has no boundaries either. She told the press that her organisation Cee4life would help care for the confiscated tigers from the Tiger Temple:

The truth is, she never did. The ex Tiger Temple volunteers she excoriates over and over again to make herself look like the “saviour”, are the ones fundraising and working hard to ensure the remainder tigers have decent enclosures in the Department of National Park (DNP).

Alshad never built a new enclosure for Jinora in the Bandung Zoo. She lives in this decrepit hole:

How do I know Jinora lives inside this hell hole? Foxcroft told the public during one of her live streams from the Bandung Zoo.

The pictures below are few of “animal activist” Sybelle Foxcrofts’ friends. Top two pictures were taken in Taman Safari Bogor, the Bandung Zoo new management. Taman Safari is infamous for their tiger selfies. Bottom left picture was taken in Bandung Zoo, of tiger cub Maharani with another of her foster parent. Bottom right is Alshad playing with Jinora in the Bandung Zoo, in her “new enclosure” (the one Foxcroft lied to the public about, the one Alshad never built) These tiger selfies were shared publicly in Alshads’ facebook:

Despite the raid by BKDSA, in August 2017, Alshad was selected as a foster parent to one of the tiger cubs, Eshan.

Since the confiscation of Alshad “pets”, he has a built bigger tiger enclosure in his home and in October 2018, incorporated his mini private zoo PT Taman Satwa Eksotik (PT Exotic Animal Park) which enables him to apply for a capitive and breeder’s permit. He revealed that he has approximately 30 exotic animals in captivity.

In December 2019, Alshad Ahmad acquired Eshan, now 2 1/2 years old from the Bandung Zoo.

He made local news again when he uploaded the transfer of Eshan from the Bandung Zoo to his home in his youtube channel on December 2019 which had over 2M views.

His actions were heavily critised by Indonesian wildlife observers stating that it only encourages others to want to keep tigers as pets. Since then the video has been viewed over 9M times.

Local media also reported that Alshad had also built a breeding enclosure and awaits the return of Jinora, who is now 3 years old from the Bandung Zoo. He intends to breed her with Eshan.

The Chairman of Indonesian Conservation Cadre Communication Forum (FK3I), told the media that he suspects the Bandung Zoo of trafficking wildlife and selling them to millionaires like Alshad. He slammed BKDSA for not sanctioning Alshad after he was found to have kept Jinora and other endangered species without a permit and expressed his disappointment that they approved Alshad permit application so readily.

Foxcroft hypocrisy didn’t not end there, she accused her nemesis Edwin Wiek of Wildlife Friends Foundation Thailand (WFFT) of ” always wanting to own tigers” and “procuring tigers”. An authentic “conservationist” would have known the distinction between Wiek and Alshad.  Foxcroft would have her followers believe that she is being stalked by Wiek when her comments in For Tigers shows quite the opposite. Rather than stalking Wiek, perhaps Foxcroft should look into her friends’ “activities”.

There is very little difference between the Tiger Temple, Joe Exotic, Alshad and the Bandung Zoo aside from Alshad and the Bandung Zoo are friends of Foxcroft.

As for the female cub, Maharani, I suspect she was sent back to Maharani zoo per the original agreement. No doubt she would be exploited and used as a breeding machine.

All this reeks of corruption, and Foxcroft is in the thick of it.

It is also rumoured that Foxcroft plagiarised one of the ex Tiger Temple volunteer’s Tiger Temple report.

It is unbelievable that a reputable organisation like the National Geographic did not do their due diligence and continues to get their Tiger Temple updates from Foxcroft who is incapable of telling the truth and has never seen any of the tigers since June 2016.

No authentic and legitimate conservationist would behave in this manner. Foxcroft is a mendacious, hypocritical charlatan and a disgrace.
